The signing of new mortgages moderated its fall in November, after the decrease of 5.9% registered in October when it recovered its downward path.
In total, 28,756 residential mortgages were constituted and recorded in the property registers in November, down by 2.4% compared to the same month in 2019, according to data released on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
