The Details of the 102 Residential Plots Being Sold by the Community of Madrid

The regional government is going to put 240 publicly owned plots up for sale, of which 102 are for residential use. The jewel in the crown is a plot spanning more than 32,000 m2 in the heart of the Salamanca district.

The economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has prompted numerous plans by different governments. Amongst them is the Plan for the Reactivation of the Economy from the Community of Madrid. It contains a number of measures, including the sale of land spanning 1 million square metres, with a market value of around 256 million euros.

Specifically, the regional government is going to put up for sale around 240 publicly owned plots for different uses that include residential, commercial, industrial and other special types such as hotel, educational, cultural and facilities. Of the total, 102 are for residential use and are located in 14 different municipalities in the region.
