The scene in Mallorca at this point in the summer is very different to what we are used to seeing. Many closed businesses, empty beaches, tranquillity and hardly any tourists: that is the image that Mallorcans are currently seeing, as they await the arrival of 1 July, when borders reopen and international flights resume.
