The Covid-19 crisis has devastated Spain’s economy and in particular, some sectors such as tourism. The industry has recently suffered a new blow due to the decision of some countries to impose a quarantine on travellers coming from Spain.

In consequence, the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) warned about the risks to the economy posed by localised spikes in the virus, along with the decentralised management of such risks which may lead to new restrictions by other countries on visitors from Spain.
