The CNMC Authorises Banco Santander’s Purchase of the Socimi Uro Property

The CNMC has authorised Banco Santander to launch a takeover bid for 84.66% of the Socimi Uro Property to acquire its 700 bank branches.

The National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) has authorised Banco Santander to take control of the Socimi Uro Property, which owns around 700 bank branches.

At the end of July, the entity chaired by Ana Botín presented a takeover bid (OPA) for the Socimi Uro Property, which is currently listed on the MAB.
