The Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) will hold a major business summit in Spain starting today, with sessions running throughout this week. Senior representatives from Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank, Bankia, Repsol, Naturgy, Iberdrola, Ferrovial, El Corte Inglés and other groups are expected to attend.
The summit is being held just a week before the State of Emergency is due to end, and with it, the complete opening up of the economy. The title of the conference is Spanish companies leading the future. Business sources indicate that the objective is to debate ideas for the economic reconstruction of the country following the serious impact that the coronavirus pandemic has had on the Spanish economy.
