Spanish banks have returned 2,275.87 million euros to those affected by floor clauses to March 2020, according to the latest report from the ‘Monitoring, Control and Evolution Committee’ prepared by the Bank of Spain.
As of 31 March 2020, the credit institutions had received 1,213,784 requests for the reimbursement of amounts collected through the application of floor clauses on their mortgage loans.
