According to Alfredo Sanz Corma, Chairman of the General Council of Technical Architecture in Spain (CGATE), “if the restrictive working conditions that the health authorities have imposed cannot be assured, the decision must be taken to stop the building work to safeguard the health of the workers”
“The surveyors and technical architects, who act as health and safety coordinators, must recommend that if the conditions are not complied with in their entirety, then the work must not proceed. It is important to highlight that the prevention services must guarantee that the existing conditions are compatible with those set forth in the Royal Decree”, argued Sanz Corma.
