The Spanish real estate sector underwent 256 mergers and acquisitions, including announced and finalised deals, in the year to July, down 36%. The total volume reached €3.873 billion, 63% less, according to data from Transactional Track Record (TTR).
According to the study, operations in the real estate sector led the Spanish transactional market in the first seven months of 2020, beating the technology sector, with 199 operations; the financial and insurance sector, with 82 transactions; and the health, hygiene and beauty sector, with 74 deals.
