Spain Registers 1,812 Mergers & Acquisitions to November, Down by 22%

During the first eleven months of the year, the Spanish market registered 1,812 mergers and acquisitions worth 108.1 billion euros in total, up by 37.6% YoY.

During the eleven months to November, 1,812 transactions were recorded in Spain, down by 22.6% in interannual terms, although the aggregate value of those transactions rose by 37.6% in interannual terms to 108.1 billion euros, according to TTR’s monthly report.

In November, 148 mergers and acquisitions were registered including announced and closed deals, with an aggregate value of 27.0 billion euros. By sector, real estate was the most active during the year, with a total of 390 transactions, followed by technology, with 347 transactions.
