The transactional market in the Spanish real estate sector has seen 564 mergers and acquisitions in 2021, an increase of 13.7% y-o-y. The total invested reached €10.577 billion, up 41.8%, according to a report by Transactional Track Record (TTR).
Transactions in the real estate sector led Spain’s market ahead of tech (537 transactions), finance and insurance (217 transactions), and solar (204 transactions).
There were 51 transactions in the real estate sector totalling 881.1 million euros in the last month of 2021. July was the most active month in the real estate sector by the number of transactions (66).
