Spain occupies third place in the ranking of the favourite market for investors in Europe, along with the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Germany and France occupy the first and second positions, respectively, according to the EME Investor Sentiment survey carried out by the consulting firm Savills. Real estate investors with total assets under management in EMEA worth more than 500 billion euros participated in the survey.
According to data from the consultant, 70% of those who participated in the survey consider that it is very likely (48.15%) or likely (22.22%) that they will invest in Spain over the next 12 months. The top five favourite segments for real estate investment in Europe over the next year are multifamily, big box and last mile in the logistics space, CBD offices and halls of residence for students.
