Sofidy has made its debut in the Spanish market. The real estate manager, and subsidiary of the Tikehau Capital group, has invested in an office building comprising three properties in Madbit, the business district in the central area of Julián Camarillo, in the Spanish capital. The purchase was made through an off-market transaction between the real estate investment companies (SCPI) SOFIDY Europe Invest and EFIMMO 1.
The property, which was previously owned by Green Oak, was actually sold in April for 29.8 million euros, as reported by the Socimi to BME Growth. It was built in 2006 and renovated in 2021 and enjoys a strategic location at number 34 Calle Albarracín, in Madbit, the new technological district of Madrid. Madbit is a business area that is home to several high–profile Information Technology and Communications companies including IBM, Indra, Telefónica and Atos.
