Despite the difficult time that the retail sector is going through due to the strict restrictions over capacity and visitor numbers due to the health crisis, the owners of shopping centres in Spain are continuing to back the segment with new openings across the country.
According to data from the Spanish Association of Shopping Centres (AECC) collected by Vozpópuli, up to eight new centres will be inaugurated in 2020. In fact, five of them -Bahía Real in Camargo (Cantabria), Torre Village in Zaragoza, Way Dos Hermanas in Sevilla, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Málaga and the first phase of Parque Comercial Ceamar in Huelva- have already opened their doors to the public.
