The impact of the coronavirus pandemic is starting to be felt in the housing market since, according to data from the ‘Málaga District by District’ report, prepared by the consulting firm Colliers International, which analyses the asking prices of second-hand homes that have gone on the market recently, sales prices in Málaga have decreased compared to February this year, just before the State of Emergency was decreed. As such, buying a second-hand home in the city is now 9% cheaper.

“Happiness varies by neighbourhood and that is truer than ever in the case of house prices. In the second hand market in Málaga, we are seeing price decreases ranging from -10.8% to -2%”. – says Íñigo Molina, Director of the Andalucían office of Colliers International.
