Sareb is strengthening its management team with the recruitment of Solvia’s former Director General, Javier García del Río, as the Deputy Director General to the President of the real estate company, Jaime Echegoyen.
García del Río served as the head of Solvia between 2014 and 2019. During that time, he managed to turn the real estate division of Banco Sabadell into one of the market leaders, according to Sareb. At the same time, he held the role of Deputy Director at Sabadell since 2012, after leaving his position at CAM, the Alicante-based savings bank which Sabadell bought at auction for €1.
