After almost a decade of obstacles, these urban development plans represent an urban development milestone in the town. Once the proposal has been approved, work will begin on a new residential development in San Sebastián de los Reyes, which will comprise more than 3,600 homes.
The initiative that the Government will present on Thursday reflects the specifications of the General Plan revised in 2001, and of the AR-2 Distribution Area, ‘Cerro del Baile’, which was definitively approved by the Governing Council of the Community of Madrid by agreement on 3 November 2011 (as published in the BOCM on the 24th of the same month).
