Swedish investment firm Sagax has acquired a portfolio of ‘cash & carry’ centres from GM Food, a distribution chain formerly known as Miquel Alimentació, which is controlled by the Chinese multinational Bright Food.
Specifically, the company has acquired 37 GM Food assets in Spain, which are mainly concentrated in Madrid and Barcelona, for 1.56 billion Swedish crowns (about 152 million euros), according to Expansión.
