Sabadell has started a cost reduction program, which will see the entity vacate four office buildings to save on its rental expense. In total, the bank expects to save 15 million euros a year in general expenses from rent, per diem charges and travel expenses.
Specifically, Sabadell is going to vacate two office buildings that it has been renting in the Barcelonan municipality of Sant Cugat. One of those buildings houses 900 workers and the other 500.
