Sabadell Puts a New NPL Portfolio on the Market Worth €1 Billion

The bank has engaged EY to find a buyer for the portfolio which contains non-performing mortgages worth between 900 and 1,000 million euros.

Banco Sabadell has engaged the professional services firm EY to search for a buyer amongst the large international funds for a portfolio of non-performing mortgage loans worth between 900 and 1,000 million euros.

The portfolio comprises loans with defaulted payments from before Covid, notes El Confidencial, and joins another portfolio, called Explorer, which the entity chaired by Josep Oliu, put up for sale a month ago to divest NPLs from SMEs worth 300 million euros.
