The price of rental housing increased by 1.3% in the third quarter of 2020 in quarterly terms, to reach an average price of 11.5 euros per square metre per month, according to the portal Idealista.
In monthly terms, the average rent grew by 0.4%, whilst the year-on-year increase amounted to 5.7%. However, in large cities, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla and Malaga, rents fell significantly over the summer, by more than 3%.
