The real estate company Realia, whose largest shareholder is the Mexican businessman Carlos Slim, remunerated the members of its Board of Directors with €698,000 in total last year. That figure represented a decrease of 13% with respect to the amount that the Board received the previous year.
Realia, which approved the remuneration policy for its governance body in June 2018, remunerates its directors in accordance with their attendance at board meetings, hence the annual variation. Currently, the company has a non-executive proprietary Chairman (who represents Carso, Slim’s Mexican parent company), three other proprietary directors, four independent directors and the CEO, Gerardo Kuri.
