Real estate investment in Spain reached a historical record in 2022, amounting to 16.4 billion euros in terms of transactions, up by one third compared to 2021. In addition, if we include corporate operations, real estate investment skyrocketed to 17.5 billion, according to reports by the consultancy Catella.
“Yields rose again in all types of assets due to uncertainty, the increase in financing costs and high inflation,” say sources at the company, which also indicated that activity slowed down after the summer, a trend that is expected to continue during the first half of 2023.
