The Minister for Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, has presided over the signing of several agreements with the autonomous regions of Castilla y León, Extremadura, La Rioja and Navarra to promote the construction of 688 affordable and social rental homes in energy-efficient buildings.
Specifically, the Ministry of Transport and the Junta de Castilla y León have signed three agreements to finance the construction of 327 homes. The Ministry will contribute just over 14 million euros from its Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. The homes will be located in Salamanca, Valladolid and Miranda de Ebro, and will be developed under a public promotion regime involving a total estimated investment of 38.4 million euros.
