A dozen Spanish and international real estate brokerages, together with some of the 'Big Four' companies, accounted for the lion’s share of sales finalised in 2020 in Spain.

2020 ended with one of the lowest levels of real estate investment in Spain in years. In total, asset purchases reached about nine billion euros, 30% less, according to calculations by different consultancies. However, in a year marked by a global pandemic, which paralysed activity worldwide for weeks (and even months in the case of Spain), important real estate transactions were also completed, in which advisors, especially international ones, played a key role.
