71,595 new homes are expected to be completed in Spain in 2021. Most of these projects will be concentrated in and around the country’s large capital cities. Specifically, in the province of Barcelona, 8,599 new homes are expected to be completed, accounting for almost 12% of the total forecast for the country as a whole, according to data from the real estate big data platform Brains RE.
In the city of Barcelona alone, 1,691 homes are expected to be completed this year, divided into 440 developments at the provincial level and 74 at the municipal level, according to data from the aforementioned platform.
