Proudreed Spain and BPN Capital Partners have bought the Quadernillos shopping centre, which has been owned by an English family office and a Qatari investor since 2013. The operation is Proudreed’s first investment in Spain.
Quadernillos is located in the Madrilenian town of Alcalá de Henares and comprises a retail and leisure park with a gross leasable area of 30,000 square metres. Its tenants include operators in the supermarket, retail, home furnishings, DIY, leisure and restaurant segments, including brands such as Brico Dépôt, Burger King, Foster’s Hollywood and Ginos. The 9,000 square metre cinema, which is operated by Ocine, was not part of the operation.
