The Covid-19 pandemic has transformed everything from citizens’ routines to the plans of the most important multinationals around the world. It has even changed buyer preferences when it comes to choosing a home.
Having spent several months confined to their homes, Spaniards have realised the shortcomings of those properties. The flexibility of space, natural light, outdoor areas and a larger home size, amongst others, have been listed as the most desired characteristics for buyers during the lockdown period. In this sense, new build homes are the product that best meets the new needs of customers and so we are seeing some changes in that segment.
