The PSOE-Unidas Podemos coalition government has reached an agreement to regulate rental prices within the next four months, as reported on Tuesday by President Pedro Sánchez and Vice President Pablo Iglesias in the presentation of the preliminary draft of the General State Budgets.
Sánchez announced that the Government will present a law to the Congress of Deputies that will allow mechanisms to be established to limit or lower rental prices in “stressed” areas, both for new rental contracts and existing ones.
