The office market in Madrid and Barcelona continues to perform strongly. According to a study carried out by Cushman & Wakefield, Madrid has registered a slight quarterly improvement in its prime office rents, with similar movements in the logistics and retail sectors. Meanwhile, in Barcelona, rents have remained stable in all three markets.
The average rents in the prime office market in Madrid during the first quarter of 2022 stood at €35/m2 per month, 1.4% higher than during the first quarter of 2021.
