The US company Prime Data Center has chosen Madrid as the location to build its first data centre in Europe. According to Cinco Días, the project will involve an investment of between 200 and 300 million euros.
Prime Data Centers has a number of data centres in locations such as Sacramento, Vernon, Chicago and Santa Clara, where four of its infrastructures are concentrated. For the time being, the company has not revealed exactly where it will install its new centre in the Spanish capital, or the capacity of the new asset.
