Porcelanosa has invested a total of 55 million euros in the development of a 36,000-square-metre plant in the Castellón municipality of Villarreal, where the company’s headquarters are located. The new centre will produce around 1.3 million square meters of large-format porcelain and sintered stone per year.
“The new facility is equipped with the most advanced machinery,” say sources at Porcelanosa. Specifically, the material to be manufactured there measures 320×160 cm and 270×120 cm with thicknesses of 6, 12 and 20 mm, and with machinery capable of producing 30 mm-thick surfaces. In addition, the production systems are prepared for making and working with pieces measuring up to 360×160 cm.
