Panattoni Acquires Land for a Second Logistics Project in Zaragoza

The new logistics building will feature innovations promoting sustainability and combine cross-docking activity for the last mile to improve order delivery.

The property developer Panattoni has announced the acquisition of a new plot of land in the Zaragoza Logistics Platform close to Zaragoza Airport to develop a new logistics project with an expected delivery date in the second quarter of 2022.

This new building, which will be built at risk, has a plot of more than 25,600 m2, on which it will be possible to develop both a 14,000-m2 flexible structure for one client and a multi-tenant building with several warehouses with between 2,500 and 4,500 m2 each, depending on the needs.

This new project will be located next to other important platforms such as BSH, Inditex and Pikolin.  The industrial estate has direct access to the A-2 and stands out for its proximity to one of the airports with the highest volume of operations in Spain. The airport is becoming more important every year. It was the second busiest in the country for cargo in 2020 with 143,600 tonnes, ahead of even Barcelona’s El Prat airport.
