María José Cuenda, Director General of Real Estate at Aena, explained the logistics project that the airport manager will launch in the third quarter of 2021.
The company headed by Maurici Lucena has chosen a heady moment for the logistics sector to launch the bid on which it has been working for years. This first operation is part of an even larger project, the development of Airport Cities in the main Spanish capitals. The first step in this plan will be the main airport in Spain and the fifth in Europe. In total, Madrid City Airport will involve the development of 323 hectares of land, with a buildable area of 2.1 million m2.
