Neinver, the operator specialising in retail outlets, registered record growth in 2022 with total sales around the world of 1.35 billion euros. That figure represents an increase of 22% compared to 2021 and of almost 6% compared to 2019. The shopping outlets and retail parks operated by the Spanish multinational in six European countries received 63 million visitors in 2022, 16% more than in 2021.
In relation to its shopping outlets, sales improved by 25% in 2022 in YoY terms and visitor footfall was up by 19%. According to Daniel Losantos, CEO of Neinver: “having returned to their pre-pandemic levels in the second half of 2021, our shopping outlets maintained a strong upward trend throughout 2022, achieving record sales and a full recovery in terms of visitors by the end of the year. The start of 2023 has seen a continuation of the positive trend with double-digit growth compared to 2019 and the beginning of 2020 in terms of sales and footfall, exceeding the pre-pandemic figures.”
