Mortgage lending is continuing a pace in the Spanish market. According to data published yesterday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) for the month of February 2022, the number of mortgages constituted over homes stood at 36,537, up by 14.6% compared to February 2021.
In February, it was not only the number of home mortgages granted that grew, but also the amount loaned. In this way, the average mortgage amounted to 141,752 euros, up by 7.6% YoY.
