On Wednesday 25 November, José Luis Ábalos, the Minister for Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda, signed 32 agreements for the construction of 1,064 homes located in 22 municipalities of Andalucía, intended for affordable or social rental for a minimum period of 25 years. These agreements form part of the Government’s Affordable Rental Plan, previously called the 20,000 Plan.
The minister indicated that more than 95 million euros will be allocated to the construction of the affordable rental homes, of which 25% or more than 23 million euros will be financed by the Ministry, 11% by the municipalities, 6% by the Junta de Andalucía and 58% by the property developer.
