Revenues from the hotel business increased by 77% in 2019 compared to 2018, to reach €4.54 million, driven by the contribution from Lucentum hotels in Alicante, and Vía Castellana in Madrid, and, to a lesser extent, Meliá Bilbao, an asset the firm has owned since December, according to the results sent to the CNMV.
The Socimi has four other hotels, currently undergoing renovation, in Madrid (Plaza Canalejas), Bilbao and Sevilla (two). It also owns a luxury resort under development in La Hacienda de San Roque, Sotogrande (Cádiz).
