The manager of the largest Socimi specialising in shopping centres in Spain, Miguel Pereda, Director of Lar Spain and CEO of Grupo Lar, acknowledges that the Covid-19 crisis has had an impact on its establishments -it owns more than 14 large properties throughout Spain, which are, however, still open and generating income, he points out.
“In terms of open and authorised activities, we have 30% of our operating portfolio and our obligation is to maintain our shopping centres in perfect conditions for offering these activities,” explains Pereda, at a meeting organised by Simapro about the impact of Covid-19 on non-residential assets.
