The Metropolis group has bought the Diagonal 123 office building, located in Barcelona, from BFO, a real estate company owned by the Bernat family. The operation, which was signed on Thursday, has been closed for 55 million euros.
The building, which is certified as a BREEAM Gold property, comprises 10,170 square metres of office space and commercial premises, as well as 240 parking spaces. The property was partially leased to Vodafone until a few months ago and is now 50% occupied. It was developed by Hines and acquired by BFO in 2010.
