Meridia has sold the office building located on Calle Juan Hurtado de Mendoza, 4 in Madrid for €38 million just 18 months after acquiring it for €26.5 million.
The property has a surface area of 7,500 m2, of which 4,800 m2 is used as office space and the remainder is dedicated to commercial use.
The Catalan Socimi put the property on the market at the end of last year as part of a larger portfolio, Project Square, worth €200 million. The other assets are expected to be sold later this year.
Meridia’s portfolio comprises spans a combined surface area of around 80,000 m2 and contains assets in Madrid, including the Omega building in Alcobendas, 3 properties on Calle Julián Camarillo and the so-called Virgilio II building in Ciudad de la Imagen (Pozuelo de Alarcón); and Barcelona, including 3 assets known as Citypark in Cornellá and 2 office blocks in Viladecans, amongst others.
