Meridia Capital Acquires Logistics Platform in Barberá del Vallés

Meridia Capital, Xavier Faus’ fund manager, has acquired a 20,000 m2-logistics warehouse in Barberá del Valles, the former headquarters of Transportes Souto.

The investment manager Meridia Capital has announced its acquisition of a logistics platform in Barberá del Vallés, Barcelona. The asset, located in Barcelona’s first ring, has 20,171 square metres on a 27,872-square metre plot of land. Xavier Faus’ management company is expected to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment of the property and subsequently lease it. The logistics warehouse was, in its previous stage, the headquarters of Transportes Souto. Colliers International provided consulting on the deal. Oriol Gual, I&L National Director at Colliers, highlighted logistics investors’ interest who, given the shortage of land, are looking for opportunities to reposition obsolete assets.
