The Socimi Healthcare Activos Yield has closed the purchase of the company Maquavit Inmuebles, which owns five nursing homes for the elderly, for 50 million euros in total.
The assets acquired are located in Madrid, San Sebastián, Palma de Mallorca, Santiago de Compostela and Oviedo and have a total of 800 beds and 150 day-centre places. All of them are managed by DomusVi, an operator that specialises in residences for the elderly, which will continue to provide its service under its current long-term rental contract.
