Málaga City Council is proposing a modification to its General Urban Plan in order to control the supply of tourist housing.
According to the National Institute of Statistics, the province of Malaga is home to the second-largest supply of this type of property in Spain. The year 2020 was not an easy one for the tourism sector, which saw decreases in turnover of up to 80%.
