Madrid Transfers €24 Million to the EMVS to Close 2020 with 930 Finished Homes

The public company currently has 3,100 homes under construction, of which 930 will be completed this year and 375 next year.

On Thursday, the Government approved the transfer of 24 million euros by the Housing Department to the Municipal Housing and Land Company (EMVS). Of that amount, 12.4 million euros will be used to continue financing the construction of the housing developments currently underway.

In fact, the EMVS will close this year with 930 finished homes of the 3,100 flats that it has planned in total. The other 11.6 million euros will be used to pay for various care programs for vulnerable groups, as well as to cover the maintenance and security costs of all the assets owned by the public company.
