The Community of Madrid is planning to request funding for projects worth 22.5 million euros from the national government to be financed by Europe, of which 442 million euros would be used to resume work on the paralysed ‘Ciudad de la Justicia’ project.
The project has been an objective for the region over the last two decades. It was started by the former President of the region, Esperanza Aguirre, and is expected to be recovered by the current President, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, according to El Confidencial, citing sources from the Community of Madrid.
