On Thursday, the Governing Board approved a transfer of 24 million euros from the Housing Department to the Municipal Housing and Land Company (EMVS). 12.4 million euros of that amount will be used to continue financing the construction of protected housing developments that are currently underway.
The EMVS’s objective for this year is to finish 900 of the 3,100 flats that it has in the pipeline. The other 11.6 million euros will be used to cover different care programs for vulnerable groups, as well as for the maintenance and security of the EMVS’s real estate assets.
