
Yesterday, through the Municipal Housing and Land Company (EMVS), Madrid City Council signed the purchase of a plot of land in the Vicálvaro district for the construction of 50 new public apartments for rent. The land, which is located next to the Forest Park in the Vicálvaro district, is adjacent to another plot that the EMVS has also just acquired for the construction of another 20 homes.
With this latest purchase, the EMVS completes a month of several operations that has seen it add 580 new protected homes to its stock. A few days ago, the Board of Directors of the public company approved the purchase of 108 homes from Sareb and another 19 properties from Social Security. The EMVS will pay 18.2 million euros for those 127 homes.
