The construction companies Ferrovial, San José, Sacyr, Dragados, the UTE Joca-Urvios and Viales y Obras Públicas will be in charge of building the Valdebebas hospital together with four architecture studios and four other companies.

The Community of Madrid is making progress with the construction of a new hospital dedicated to pandemics. It will span a surface area of 40,000 square metres and will be located on the site of what was going to be the ‘Campus de la Justicia’, in Valdebebas.

In the end, a total of 14 companies of the 49 that participated in the bid, have been selected to build the hospital in the Spanish capital, which will have more than a thousand beds. The Community of Madrid, led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso (PP), anticipates that the work will cost 50 million euros and that hospital will be ready this autumn.
