The Community of Madrid is making progress with the construction of a new hospital dedicated to pandemics. It will span a surface area of 40,000 square metres and will be located on the site of what was going to be the ‘Campus de la Justicia’, in Valdebebas.
In the end, a total of 14 companies of the 49 that participated in the bid, have been selected to build the hospital in the Spanish capital, which will have more than a thousand beds. The Community of Madrid, led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso (PP), anticipates that the work will cost 50 million euros and that hospital will be ready this autumn.
