The recovery in activity has continued to benefit the logistics sector during the first six months of the year. It is, without a doubt, one of the most active real estate segments and investor interest is spreading to almost all the strategic areas of Spain. And so Bilbao, the preferred enclave for connections to the British Isles, was always going to be a hot spot.
And 2022 is proving to be a record year for the city. During the first half of 2022, 215% more logistics space was leased than during the same period in 2021. That represents triple the demand in just one year, according to data compiled by CBRE.
